Samsung has just announced that it’s expanding the One UI 8.5 beta program to more devices. The beta is now available to the Galaxy S23 series (including the Galaxy S23 FE), the Galaxy Z Fold5, the Galaxy Z Flip5, and the Galaxy A36.
The beta program for these phones will be available in select markets, including India, Korea, the UK, and the US. If you are in one of the supported markets, you should see a banner inside the Samsung Members app advertising the beta program, but do note that this is a phased rollout, so it might take a while to reach you.
The One UI 8.5 beta now has support for AirDrop via Quick Share on the Galaxy S25 series, the Galaxy S24 family, the Galaxy Z Fold7, the Galaxy Z Flip7, the Galaxy Z Fold6, and the Galaxy Z Flip6.
Samsung says the One UI 8.5 beta program will expand further, to additional Galaxy devices, “later this month”.
