EcoFlow has announced the Delta Pro Ultra X, its most “powerful system” designed to power a home for a week.

The Delta Pro Ultra X delivers a massive 12kW of continuous output, scalable up to 36 kW, which means a 60% boost over the previous model. Impressive stuff.

Its modular battery packs can expand from 12kW to 180kWh of storage and can provide enough energy for up to a month of essential backup power. That’s seriously impressive stuff.

That’s not all though, as the system achieves up to 9% conversion efficiency, which is enough to handle demanding appliances such as water heaters, induction ovens, and EV charges without additional soft starters.

Smarter energy management with Smart Home Panel 3’

The Ultra X pairs with the company’s new Smart Home Panel 3, a 200-amp panel that can serve as either the main panel or subpanel and control up to 32 circuits.

The panel’s AI-driven Time-of-Use Mode helps cut electricity bills by automatically charging the system during off-peak hours and discharging during high-rate periods that can potentially save serious amouts every year.

Additionally, solar users can benefit even further with 10kW solar input; two battery packs can recharge to 80% in roughly one hour.

Unlike most whole-home systems, the Delta Pro Ultra X can be fully operational in just seven days, according to EcoFlow. It includes scheduling with the actual installation by one of EcoFlow’s 425 certified U.S installers.

It also allows homeowners to add more batteries or accessories later without complex rewiring because of its modular, quick-clip architecture. Of course, its portable design gives flexibility in placement anywhere in your house.

    Pricing and availability

The Delta Pro Ultra X bundle, which comes with an inverter and two batteries, starts at $7999, while the Smart Home Panel 3 costs $2,999 individually. If you want a whole package of this system, you can purchase this, including the inverter, panel, and two batteries, for $10,899.

So, if you’re looking to reduce reliance on the grid or prepare for outages, the Ultra X looks like a genuinely future-proof investment that you can have in your household.
