Black Friday is still a few weeks away, but one of the best smartphone deals may have already landed. If you’re looking to upgrade your phone and are a fan of Google’s Pixel lineup, this Pixel 9 deal is one you won’t want to pass up.

Currently on Amazon, you can score a Google Pixel 9 for $500, saving you $300 off its regular price of $800. This deal is exclusively for the 128GB Pixel 9 and is available for three of the phone’s color options: obsidian, hazel, and porcelain.

What makes this deal particularly noteworthy is that it makes the Pixel 9 the same price as the Pixel 9a, which is intended to be a mid-range alternative to the Pixel 9. In other words, you can now get a flagship phone for the price of a mid-range device.

This deal is available for a limited time on Amazon, so it won’t last forever. You can check it out below.

Is the Pixel 9 still worth it in 2025?

The Pixel 9 isn’t all that different from the Pixel 10

Although the Pixel 10 is now available, that doesn’t mean the Pixel 9 is no longer worth considering. The Pixel 10 is undoubtedly a more powerful handset, but the differences between the two aren’t that large, with the two biggest ones being that the Pixel 10 has a faster Tensor G5 chipset compared to the Pixel 9’s Tensor G4 chip, and that the Pixel 10 supports Qi2 magnetic charging and Google’s new range of Pixelsnap magnetic accessories.

With that in mind, the Pixel 9 still delivers impressive performance in 2025, and its Tensor G4 chipset can handle demanding apps, multitasking, AI models, and gaming. It also has a 4,700mAh battery, a 10.5-megapixel selfie camera, and two rear cameras: a 50-megapixel main lens and a 48-megapixel ultra-wide lens. The display features a 6.3-inch OLED panel with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, so everything should appear sharp and smooth.

In terms of longevity, Google promised seven years of OS, security, and Pixel Drop updates for the Pixel 9. Since it only came out in August 2024, it still has six years left, which is plenty of time.

All in all, if you’re in the market for a new smartphone and want to save money without compromising too much on quality, then this deal for the Pixel 9 is worth considering. You can snag the Pixel 9 on Amazon for a limited time now, ahead of Black Friday.
