The UCI World Tour returns for 2026 and will once again feature 18 teams vying for glory across 36 events, starting with the Tour Down Under on January 21-25 and concluding with the Tour of Guangxi on October 13-18.

Last year, Tadej Pogačar and his UAE Team Emirates-XRG squad dominated proceedings, with the Slovenian winning eight World Tour events, including the Tour de France and three of the five cycling monuments. However, a whole host of changes have been made over the winter, with the likes of Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe, Decathlon CMA CGM and Visma-Lease a Bike all boasting incredibly strong line-ups.

Red Bull in particular will be hoping for success after bringing Olympic gold medalist Remco Evenepoel into the fold, while rising Spanish ace Juan Ayuso will be looking to impress after joining Lidl-Trek. Decathlon will also believe they have a star in the making, with Olav Kooij aiming to become the best sprinter in the world at the French team.

Despite plenty of changes, Pogačar will still be the man to beat. The 27-year-old has plenty of targets for the season ahead, including winning Paris-Roubaix for the first time and potentially securing a record-equaling fifth Tour de France victory.

It’s set to be a fascinating season, so read on for everything you need to know to watch 2026 UCI World Tour live streams from anywhere in the world.

Can I watch UCI World Tour 2026 events for free?

While not every event this season will be available to watch for FREE, the vast majority will be streamed via a free-to-air service, including all three Grand Tours and five monuments.

In Australia, the SBS On Demand online platform is free to view and has the rights to show the major races, including the Tour de France, Vuelta a España, Paris-Roubaix and Liège-Bastogne-Liège.

Across Europe, there are plenty of other free-to-air options, too. These include France TV (France), RaiPlay (Italy) and RTVE Play (Spain). The UK is also set to cover some events, with either BBC iPlayer or ITVX expected to bring coverage of the Tour of Britain.

Travelling abroad and set to miss one of the races? You can use a VPN to watch all the action free of charge as if you were right at home. NordVPN is our top pick of the options.
