Honor has already confirmed that the Magic9 series is coming in September. You may have been wondering how many devices will be part of the lineup, and today Digital Chat Station has shared the purported answer on Weibo.

According to him, we’re getting the Magic9, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, just like the Magic8 (blame the RAM and storage chip crisis, presumably). This device will have a 6.36-inch screen with a “1.5K” resolution and a “large battery” that isn’t detailed any further.

Along with it there will be another device, which will either be called Magic9 Pro or Magic9 Pro Max (the leaks haven’t been able to agree yet). This one has a 6.8-inch screen with a “1.5K” resolution and the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro SoC at the helm.

Past rumors also talked about it coming with two 200MP cameras: the main one and the periscope telephoto. The main snapper will allegedly use a 1/1.28″ type sensor, while the telephoto will go with a 1/1.4″ type sensor. The phone will also house an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, 3D face unlock, high-power wireless charging, and a good level of water resistance. Its battery capacity will apparently be between 8,000 and 8,999 mAh.
