The iQOO 15 became official last month, and back in August we heard that it would eventually be joined by an iQOO 15 Mini device, which was supposed to have a 6.3″ flat screen with average bezel size and an embedded ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. There would also be a 7,000 mAh battery keeping the lights on.

That all sounds pretty nice, but according to Digital Chat Station on Weibo, iQOO has ceased development of the iQOO 15 Mini. If this pans out, then the iQOO 15 is only going to be joined by the iQOO 15 Ultra (which may be called Pro instead) next year.

iQOO 15 Mini may have been cancelled

This device has been rumored to have a big gaming focus, with dedicated gaming triggers and a built-in fan for cooling. The iQOO 15 Mini was in fact said to arrive alongside the Ultra, but now it looks like only the Ultra will live on.
