Xiaomi has unveiled the Redmi Note 15 series, led by the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus, as it refreshes its mid-range lineup with a stronger focus on high-resolution cameras, larger batteries, and faster charging at competitive prices.

The new range includes the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus 5G, Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 15 Pro, Redmi Note 15 5G, and standard Redmi Note 15, covering price points from entry-level to upper mid-range.

The Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus 5G is positioned as the flagship of the series that features a 200-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilisation, designed to deliver greater detail and improved low-light performance compared to previous generations.

Xiaomi pairs the camera system with a large 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display, offering up to 120Hz refresh rates and peak brightness levels reaching 3,200 nits for improved outdoor visibility.

Powering the device is a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, which Xiaomi says balances strong everyday performance with improved efficiency for gaming, photography, and multitasking in the mid-range segment.

Battery life is another major focus, with the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus equipped with a 6,500mAh silicon-carbon battery that supports 100W HyperCharge.

Right below the Pro Plus, the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G retains the 200MP camera but drops charging speeds and battery capacity slightly, positioning it as a more affordable alternative for camera-focused users.

The Redmi Note 15 Pro and Note 15 models step down to 108MP main cameras, smaller batteries, and more modest charging speeds, while still offering AMOLED displays and Xiaomi HyperOS software.

Pricing starts at £179 for the Redmi Note 15, rising to £199 for the Redmi Note 15 5G, £249 for the Redmi Note 15 Pro, £349–£399 for the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G, and topping out at £429–£479 for the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus 5G.

Pre-orders for the Redmi Note 15 series open on 5 January 2026 via mi.com/uk, with wider availability through major UK retailers expected shortly after.
