Huawei just unveiled its Nova 15 series in China. Alongside, the brand also announced the Watch 5 10th Anniversary edition and a new color variant for the Watch GT 6.
The Huawei Watch 5 10th Anniversary edition comes with a special nylon braided composite strap that features a ‘10 Years’ logo. You’ll also find a ‘10 Years’ logo on the crown.
Specs of the special edition variant remain the same as the standard Watch 5. It is available in both 46mm and 42mm case sizes. The smartwatch has an LTPO AMOLED display with Sapphire glass protection. It features the X-Tap sensor that offers several health readings including ECG, PPG, and HRV.
It also offers eSIM support along with 100+ sport modes, and is claimed to deliver up to 5 days of battery life with always-on display, and 11 days of usage in power-saving mode.
Huawei also announced a new color option for the 41mm Watch GT 6. The smartwatch is now available in an ‘Ice Blue’ variant alongside Floating White, Flowing Purple, Phantom Black, and Saddle Palm colors.
The Ice Blue variant of the Watch GT 6 comes with a fluororubber strap. Once again, there aren’t any changes in hardware compared to the other color options. The 41mm watch comes with a 1.32-inch AMOLED display, the TrueSense health system, and is said to offer up to 7 days of battery life.
As for pricing, the Watch 5 10th Anniversary edition is priced at CNY 2,799 ($399) for the 42mm option and CNY 2,899 ($410) for the 46mm variant. On the other hand, the Watch GT 6 41mm model in Ice Blue can be yours for CNY 1,488 ($210). The new color option will go on sale in China starting January 1st, whereas the 10th Anniversary edition of the Watch 5 is available for purchase right away.
