Back in September we heard that Honor was going to outfit the upcoming Magic V6 foldable smartphone with a 200MP main camera, as part of a more general push for all of its future high-end devices.
Today a new rumor from Weibo confirms this, reiterating that the Magic V6 will indeed have a 200MP camera. In addition, today’s source claims that all upcoming Chinese foldable devices will have at least one 200MP camera.
Honor Magic V5
The Magic V5 was unveiled in July, so its successor might still be a way off at this point. According to a previous rumor, the Magic V6 will use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, and either a 6,900 mAh or a 7,200 mAh battery.
The 200MP main camera will allegedly be joined by a periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. The Magic V6 will apparently also have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and an ultra-thin design.
