Why you can trust TechRadar We spend hours testing every product or service we review, so you can be sure you’re buying the best. Find out more about how we test. I’ve reviewed over 50 desks in the last few years, and I have a pretty good feel for what not only makes for the best standing desks, but also what the standards are, what is consistent across brands, and what makes some stand out compared to others. What I’m saying is, it’s not often that a desk’s differences stand out as easily as the Marinamantra Flow. Most noticeable is that…
Motorola unveiled a new premium line this week with the Signature phone and showcased its first book-style foldable, the Razr Fold. Alas, neither phone is available in the US (and in the case of the Fold, it might not be fully unveiled until the MWC). More competition is always good, so we just have to arm ourselves with patience. We don’t know the US price of the Signature yet, but we do know that it will cost €1,000 in Europe – the same price as the OnePlus 15. Speaking of which, here’s the OnePlus 15 at its full retail price…
NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama, removed two of its historic test stands – the Propulsion and Structural Test Facility and the Dynamic Test Facility – with carefully coordinated implosions on Jan. 10, 2026. The demolition of these historic structures is part of a larger project at Marshall that began in spring 2022, targeting several inactive structures and building a dynamic, interconnected campus ready for the next era of space exploration. Crews began demolition in December 2025 at the Neutral Buoyancy Simulator. Learn more about these iconic facilities. Credits: NASA
I’m a long-time BlackBerry fan. I still remember buying my Blackberry Pearl 8100 back in 2006 at Argos for a whole £250 – I know, phones have gotten way too expensive – mainly to access Blackberry Messenger, a platform-exclusive chat platform that was the way to message pre-WhatsApp. But it wasn’t until I got my hands on the Blackberry Curve that I was truly sold. The full-size keyboard was a game-changer, especially compared to the T9 keyboards we were used to at the time. It not only meant I could type messages faster and more accurately, but after a while,…
When you’re looking for a new movie to watch, checking out what the critics can say can be helpful, if not definitive. But a lot of the time, what critics enjoy and what general audiences enjoy don’t line up. And then sometimes, the critics get it so wrong that you wonder why anyone ever listens to them about anything. That’s what we’re talking about today: movie classics that, for whatever reason, were torn to shreds when they first came out. The Shining Proud Razzie award nominee The Shining is now considered a classic horror movie with lots of iconic moments…
Robert Triggs / Android AuthorityI love Google Photos; its ease of use and feature set are unrivaled in my opinion. However, I’m an even bigger fan of self-hosting — I use my DIY NAS to replace a considerable range of overpriced subscription services. However, so far, I haven’t been able to replace Google Photos completely, but I might have finally found a way to truly cut the cord.See, I’m loath to fork out for Google One when I have 10TB of hard drive space on my NAS. Still, I use Google Photos to make the occasional quick edit, to help…

Samsung is reportedly eyeing a late February launch for its next set of flagship phones in the Galaxy S26 series. So far, leaks have painted a rather modest picture of the upgrade situation for these upcoming phones. Now, a recent spotting on a certification database has seemingly confirmed rather disappointing news for the mid-tier Galaxy S26 Plus. The key takeaway A Samsung smartphone carrying the SM-947B model identifier was recently spotted on the SGS database. Though the documents don’t show any pictures of the device or any other technical aspect, they confirm the battery capacity. And it’s not good news. …
Call it an Old Man Moment, but the picture quality on modern TVs is amazing compared to what I had as a kid. Everything was sub-DVD resolution, and frequently fuzzy, especially if was coming from an old VHS tape or a distant broadcast tower. By comparison, even the cheapest 1080p TV from 2026 is liable to do better — and have a bigger screen. There’s a giant chasm between my parents’ first TV and a 65-inch, 4K HDR set. Nevertheless, it’s still possible to run into some familiar problems with the latest tech, including unintentionally blurry images. The good news…
Current theories suggest that dark matter — the mysterious substance that’s believed not to emit, absorb, or reflect light — dominates in the known universe, making up over 85 percent of all matter. But thanks to its elusiveness, it remains incredibly difficult to study, leaving a significant gap in our understanding of what determines the structures and shapes of celestial objects that crowd our astronomical observations. Now, an international team of researchers claims to have used NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope to discover an entirely new type of celestial object: dubbed “Cloud-9,” it’s a “starless, gas-rich, dark-matter cloud,” per the European…
