Zygo Z2: One minute reviewThe Zygo Z2 are part of a very small world of headphones, namely bone conduction models made for being used in the water. Yet even in this small space, they are unique. They’re not the only swimming headphones that you should consider, but they are the only ones that use a radio transmitter for listening to music in the water. There’s no onboard MP3 player,…
A trio of upcoming Samsung phones appeared on the GSMA database. The Galaxy S26 FE (SM-S741B/DS), Galaxy M47 5G (SM-M476B/DS) and Galaxy F70 Pro 5G (SM-E476B/DS) were spotted in certification listings confirming their existence. Galaxy S26 FE (SM-S741B/DS) GSMA listing The S26 Fan Edition could very well be the most anticipated device out of the bunch since it will be the fourth member of the flagship S26 series. Apart from its model number and naming, the listing does not include any specs or images of the device. Samsung launched its last two Galaxy S-series FE phones in September,…
These X-ray computed tomography (XCT) scans released on March 17, 2026, give us a glimpse inside asteroid Bennu. They show the most common types of crack networks observed in Bennu samples; these networks solved a mystery that baffled NASA for years. When NASA’s OSIRIS-REx spacecraft first approached asteroid Bennu in 2018, scientists expected to see smooth, sandy beach-like surfaces. Instead, they found a celestial body covered in boulders. Observations made in 2007 by NASA’s Spitzer Space Telescope measured low thermal inertia, indicative of an asteroid whose surface heats up and cools down rapidly as it rotates into and out of sunlight, like a sandy beach on Earth.…
Verdict The Oppo Find N6 is a book-style foldable that really nails the experience, combining a near-creaseless inner display, refined hardware, improved cameras and genuinely usable all-day battery life in a package that finally feels ready for more than just early adopters – making the fact it’s not getting a wide release all the more frustrating. Slimline design The foldable crease is almost imperceptible Much better camera hardware Strong battery life and rapid charging Camera sensors still trail behind bar phones Snapdragon chipset is underclocked Very limited availability Squirrel Widget Key Features Near crease-less foldable screen The inner 8.13-inch screen…
You can put together slides in PowerPoint in minutes with Copilot. But you still have to sit through them. Storytelling is one of the tools in your arsenal that can pump some life into a dull presentation. How do you do that if you are not in the room? A video presentation that rides on your voice could be the answer. Personally, I prefer recording my own voice because tone, pauses, and humor make ideas clearer. Still, AI voices have improved a lot and are a huge time-saver when you need to produce something quickly. With a Microsoft 365 account…

Five years ago, scientists watched in wonder as synthetic bacteria grew and split into daughter cells. The bacteria’s extremely stripped-down genome still supported its entire life cycle. It was a crowning achievement in synthetic biology that shed light on life’s most basic processes. These processes can now be viewed digitally. This month, a team at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign developed a virtual model of the bacteria tracking nearly all of a cell’s molecules down to the nanoscale. The researchers made this digital cell by combining several large datasets covering thousands of molecules and then animating them as the bacteria…

It’s not uncommon for people to gloss over evolutionary steps in technology, and I have to admit, even I’m guilty of that sometimes. Lately I’ve been touching on the development of TVs over the years, including LCD, OLED, and mini-LED panels, but I almost forgot about the existence of a format that was once state-of-the-art: plasma. That’s strange, in a sense, because I remember a brief time when the word “plasma” had a distinct cachet among TV shoppers. If that tech was once leading the market, though, what happened to it? Why aren’t there new generations of plasma sets on…
Sign up to see the future, today Can’t-miss innovations from the bleeding edge of science and tech In October, ChatGPT maker OpenAI announced it would be opening the floodgates for “mature apps.” “Now that we have been able to mitigate the serious mental health issues and have new tools, we are going to be able to safely relax the restrictions in most cases,” he tweeted at the time. “As part of our ‘treat adult users like adults’ principle, we will allow even more, like erotica for verified adults,” Altman added. Five months later, an “adult mode” chatbot that’s willing to…
