Freda Duan estimates XAI Colossus 1 has ~$6B annual rent. Colossus 2 is leasing roughly one-third of its total compute capacity to $Anthropic. One of many reasons for escaping Windows (as I assume is for a majority of us as well) was to get rid of unnecessary pre-installed packages. This is especially true for laptops, which come with a lot of junk. Even then, Windows just seems to never stop getting in your way. Be it forced updates, interrupting adverts or a general push to annoy the user in the most trivial way possible, there’s a lot that Microsoft could learn from the open-source community. Using KDE as my desktop environment had so far been a breeze on CachyOS, or so I thought.…

I use two Roku devices every day: a Roku Ultra connected to my living room TV and a Roku Streaming Stick Plus on the TV in my bedroom. I mostly stream in my living room, so I use the Roku Ultra there for its faster performance and extra features, including Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, both of which my 4K LG TV supports. My bedroom TV is older, so the cheaper Roku Streaming Stick Plus works perfectly there for late-night binging or for throwing on YouTube videos without needing any fancy extra features. In the past, I mainly relied on…

The Oncology Institute says a previously disclosed cybersecurity incident has been confirmed to impact patient information. The Oncology Institute (TOI) is an oncology provider founded in 2007 that delivers specialized cancer care through a network of over 100 clinics across five states. The healthcare organization told the SEC in November 2025 that it had learned of a cybersecurity incident affecting a third-party software services provider. At the time, the vendor’s investigation was ongoing and it could not say whether patient information had been compromised.  “However, on May 20, 2026, Kroll, who is the third-party administrator for the Vendor, notified [TOI]…

From high‑speed research flights to high‑altitude science campaigns, NASA depends on aircraft that perform at their best and the ground crews who keep them mission ready. At NASA’s Armstrong Flight Research Center in Edwards, California, specially trained maintenance crews are essential to keeping the agency’s aircraft flying safely and reliably. This year, NASA added two F-15s and a Pilatus PC-12 to its fleet at Armstrong. These aircraft – alongside platforms such as the high-altitude ER-2s and NASA’s newest X-plane, the X-59 – reflect a wide range of capabilities. The maintenance staff is responsible for keeping each one mission ready. “That’s…

Sony’s 1000X The Collexion headphones launched this week, and it marked a fork in the road for Sony. The new headphones mark 10 years of the 1000X series, but this isn’t a limited edition to celebrate that occasion. These are mass production headphones designed to reach a certain audience – the fashion-conscious with money. The WH-1000XX could have been no-holds-barred wireless headphones from Sony. But instead, they’ve put their efforts into other areas. You’d have noted from our review (and plenty of others) that the noise-cancellation and the battery life aren’t to the level of the WH-1000XM6. For £200 / $200…

Its vision of leaving the rat race and immersing oneself wholly in nature is purely positive.Review infoPlatform reviewed: PCAvailable on: PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2,…
