Ryan Haines / Android AuthorityTL;DR Samsung’s One UI 9 beta introduces a Security Report to Auto Blocker, allowing users to view a seven-day or monthly history of blocked app installations from unknown sources. The Maximum restrictions mode in Auto Blocker on One UI 9 now completely blocks USB connections, a significant step up from the command-only blocking found in One UI 8.5’s standard Auto Blocker mode. These features are currently live in the One UI 9 beta 1 for the Galaxy S26 series. Auto Blocker on One UI helps keep you safe from security threats, suspicious activity, and privacy risk…

The CSA responded to the Mythos Moment with advice in The ‘AI Vulnerability Storm’: Building a ‘Mythos-ready’ Security Program.  It wrote, “Introduce AI agents to the cyber workforce across the board enabling defenders to match attackers’ speed and begin closing the gap.” This is good advice if you can do it. Let’s be honest — most of us don’t clean our smart TVs very often, if at all. TVs can run fine for months or years without being touched. Heck, you might not notice the visual difference, since the best mini-LED sets are so bright that they’re competing with sunlight. Even OLED TVs are finally reaching the stage where you don’t need a dim room for maximum impact. On a long enough timeline, however, a dirty TV is going to become problematic. You’ll notice the grime in onscreen shadows, and a truly thick layer of dust can lead to issues like…

An innovative 3D printing process that advanced NASA’s approach to outfitting a lunar habitat is making buildings on Earth beautiful, efficient, and strong.  Instead of building structures layer by layer, Branch Technology Inc. of Chattanooga, Tennessee, has developed a process the company calls Freeform 3D Printing, which creates shapes with lightweight lattice structures that can be filled or covered. The company uses the technique to manufacture visually interesting, modular building elements, such as wall panels and cladding.  “Our process eliminates a ton of material from something that otherwise might be printed solid all the way through,” said David Goodloe, who leads Branch Technology’s Advanced Concepts team, which manages the company’s NASA collaborations.  In…
