A recent rumor claimed that vivo would launch the S2 FE on October 6 alongside the V80. While vivo is yet to say anything about the S2 FE, Indian online retailer Flipkart has set up a promo page on its website, confirming the smartphone’s October 6 unveiling.
Flipkart has also shared an image on the page, revealing the vivo S2 FE‘s design. The smartphone features a green-colored back panel with a camera island housing two cameras. The page also says that the S2 FE is “powered by OriginOS” without mentioning the version. It likely runs OriginOS 6, as the vivo V80 is set to be the first vivo smartphone to run OriginOS 7 outside China.
Rumors claim the vivo S2 FE’s primary camera uses a 50MP sensor, while the front camera uses a 32MP sensor. Other rumored specs of the S2 FE include a 6.83″ 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED display, Dimensity 7300e SoC, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and a 10,000 mAh battery. It’s expected to be priced under INR40,000.
Circling back to the V80, vivo has confirmed it will come with a 6.59″ 1.5K 144Hz OLED display, four ZESS-tuned cameras, and a 7,200 mAh battery with 90W charging support.
