Slowdowns happen for various reasons on your streaming devices, but the good news is that it often doesn’t mean it’s the end for them. In fact, there are a number of things you can do that get your device running as good as new, or at least close to it. One of those is clearing the cache, and it’s a common fix for Fire TV devices. Other streamers don’t have a dedicated way of doing this other than restarting the device. To be fair, that gets the job done, and is often a quick fix. The same idea applies for…

And yet, many administrative tasks have remained surprisingly clunky. You can now collaborate on a group project with people from all over the world, but the process of managing a simple document, such as signing a PDF, converting a file, or just making a quick edit, can make the workflow grind to a halt as you search for the right app.   Many works still jump between desktop apps, online…

A prototype MicroSparc chip was fabricated, the Casimir team tests it using low-noise experimental setups designed to reduce electromagnetic interference. Dr. White said these tests were performed in dark, RF (radio frequency)-sealed enclosures over several weeks “using precision electrometers capable of measuring signals down to microvolt and attoamp sensitivities.” They observed device outputs ranging from millivolts to volts at picoamp current levels, well above the instrumentation’s noise floor. The team also directly measured polarization fields at the microscale in individual custom Casimir cavities using Atomic Force Microscopy, which White noted was operating in “Kelvin Probe Force Microscopy mode.” The team…
