Cisco on Thursday announced the availability of patches for yet another critical SD-WAN zero-day vulnerability that has been exploited in attacks. It is the sixth SD-WAN flaw whose exploitation came to light in 2026. The new SD-WAN zero-day is tracked as CVE-2026-20182, and it has been described by Cisco as an authentication bypass vulnerability that can allow a remote attacker to gain admin privileges on the targeted system via specially crafted packets. According to the Taipei Times, the incident disrupted four separate trains, causing nearly an hours-long delay across various rail lines. It doesn’t matter if you spend $30 and buy a cheaper, Walmart-branded streaming box or Google’s own streaming devices. Google TV can be bloated, unresponsive, and somewhat nasty to try to muck through. And this is coming from one of their biggest fans, as I switched from Fire TV to Google TV and haven’t looked back once. But if you’re hoping to get the most out of your streaming box, I can’t blame you. There are a few great ways you can bypass the bloat and get what you paid for, without having to invest in a different streaming box…
HP IQ is probably not what most people expected the first proper post-Humane product from HP to look like. After HP acquired key parts of Humane, including its Cosmos platform, IP, and parts of its team, it would have been easy to assume the company was going to try and salvage some version of the AI Pin’s original vision. Instead, HP IQ is something much more grounded. What is HP IQ? This isn’t a new AI wearable, nor is it trying to replace your phone; this is HP’s attempt to build an on-device AI layer for work, and while that…
Google this week released a Chrome 148 update that resolves 79 vulnerabilities, including 14 critical-severity bugs across multiple components. The first critical issue is a heap buffer overflow in WebML tracked as CVE-2026-8509, for which the internet giant paid a $43,000 bug bounty. Google has not shared details on the flaw, but its severity rating and the paid amount suggest that it could be exploited for remote code execution. The second critical issue is CVE-2026-8510, an integer overflow weakness in Skia that earned the reporting researcher a $25,000 reward. The remaining 12 critical-severity security defects resolved with the latest Chrome…

Switching phones tends to feel like a bigger commitment than it needs to be, especially when the mid-range market asks you to give up something meaningful to stay within budget. What makes this moment different is that a phone launched in 2025, running Android 15 with six years of OS upgrades promised, has already dropped to a price that most people would associate with a handset half as capable. Samsung’s Galaxy A17 5G has fallen to its lowest cost yet, turning this deal into a smart time to switch phone With six OS upgrades guaranteed and a sale price of…
