DJI’s Romo range brings three smart robo vacs to Europe – but not the UK (yet)

The new Romo robots bring drone-grade smarts to your home, gliding around furniture like it’s mapping a flight path.

DJI, the company everyone knows for making some of the very best drones around, has jumped into the smart home game with something a bit different – the Romo series.

It’s a lineup of three robot vacuums: the ROMO P, ROMO A, and ROMO S. This is DJI’s first major foray into home robotics, and you can buy them across Europe now, starting at €1299.

DJI didn’t leave its drone smarts behind, either. Each Romo vacuum packs the same kind of high-precision tech you’d expect from something that usually flies. T

he dual fisheye vision sensors and solid-state LiDAR map rooms in real time, dodging stuff as small as 2mm stray cables or scattered playing cards.

    AI…of course

On top of that, DJI’s AI-driven path planning means these vacuums can figure out the best way to clean, sliding under furniture and getting into tight spots with minimal user input.

The flagship ROMO P stands out with its transparent chassis design, allowing a peek into its intricate engineering.

It’s also the most powerful of the trio, with up to 25,000 Pascals of suction and adaptive brush control to handle tricky messes like pet hair or spilt cat litter, reducing scatter when detecting debris. A built-in deodoriser system can even freshen floors while cleaning.

All three models work with the DJI Home app. You can set up schedules, tell it to focus on certain rooms, or just check to see how it’s doing. There are special modes for kitchen and pet-area cleaning, with fast 55W, so they’re always ready to use even in busy households.

The Romo S goes for €1299, the Romo A for €1599, and the top-of-the-line Romo P for €1899, pitting them right against the best robot vacuums. However, no UK release date has yet been confirmed and there’s no US availability either.
