Honor launched the Magic8 and Magic8 Pro in China in mid-October, and the company is now gearing up for the international launch of the latter. The Magic8 Pro will begin its journey outside of China in Malaysia, where it’s already being teased by Honor’s local arm.

There’s no exact launch date yet, only a “coming soon” notice posted to Honor’s Malaysian X account, as you can see below.

Whether the vanilla Magic8 will also make the trip alongside the Pro remains to be seen – so far it hasn’t been mentioned at all in the teasers, so maybe it won’t.

The Honor Magic8 Pro comes with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC at the helm, a 6.71-inch 1256×2808 LTPO OLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, 4,320Hz PWM, and 6,000-nit peak brightness, a 50 MP main camera with OIS, a 200 MP periscope telephoto camera with 3.7x optical zoom and OIS, a 50 MP ultrawide with autofocus, a 50 MP selfie camera with autofocus, and a 7,200 mAh battery. It runs Android 16 with MagicOS 10 on top.
