A 25% cut on a TV from LG’s 2026 range puts the C6 OLED at £1,199, where it cost £1,599 in August.
Amazon is where to find it, with the 55-inch LG OLED evo C6 now listed at £1,199, saving £400 on a 2026 model that has come down in two steps, first to £1,399 on 1 October and then to its current price on 28 October.
LG’s 2026 C6 OLED is now £400 cheaper than in August
Offering 165Hz gaming and 40W Dolby Atmos sound, the 2026 55-inch LG OLED evo C6 is now down to £1,199, saving £400 on its August price.
The listing is also marked as a limited-time deal on Amazon, and £1,199 is the lowest price the TV has carried there in three months. Against the £1,599 it held for most of August, the £400 saving is enough to put towards a soundbar or a new console.
What the £1,199 buys first is a picture verified by UL for Perfect Black and Perfect Colour up to 500 lux, so the deep blacks OLED is known for hold firm even in a bright afternoon living room.
Brightness Booster and the α11 AI Processor 4K Gen3 lift that picture further, with Dynamic Tone Mapping Ultra adjusting HDR as you watch, so Dolby Vision films keep detail in both their brightest highlights and darkest shadows.
Filmmaker Mode then shows those films the way the filmmakers intended, while the LG C6 OLED’s 40W Dolby Atmos speakers add height to the sound of every scene before you have even thought about plugging in a soundbar.
Switch to a console or gaming PC and the same panel runs games at up to 165Hz, with a 0.1ms response time, Auto Low Latency Mode, G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium keeping fast action smooth and free of tearing.
Four HDMI ports leave room for a console, a PC and a soundbar at once, and AirPlay 2 and Google Cast let anyone in the house send photos or videos straight from an iPhone or Android phone.
For anyone who wants one 55-inch screen that handles bright-room viewing, cinema nights and fast gaming, the LG C6 OLED at £1,199 delivers all three for £400 less than it cost in August, while Amazon’s limited-time deal lasts.
