Directed by John Sturges, The Magnificent Seven follows the story of a small Mexican village that has been repeatedly terrorized by a brutal bandit gang, leaving the villagers desperate and helpless. In a last-ditch effort to survive, the village seeks out and hires seven gunslingers to protect them and train them to fight back.

The Magnificent Seven features an unforgettable ensemble cast, including Yul Brynner as Chris Adams, Charles Bronson as Bernardo O’Reilly, Steve McQueen as Vin Tanner, and James Coburn as Britt.

If you’ve never seen The Magnificent Seven before, or could use a rewatch, this June is a great chance to do it, as it’s being added to this free streaming service.

The Magnificent Seven (1960) will be available on Pluto TV beginning June 1

You can stream this legendary film for free with ads

As part of its lineup of free movies for June, Pluto TV will add The Magnificent Seven (1960) to its library. This is in addition to the remake of the film, The Magnificent Seven (2016), which is also being added. But I highly recommend watching the original instead, as it’s much better.

If you’ve never tried Pluto TV before, it’s a free ad-supported streaming service, which means that while you can watch The Magnificent Seven without having to pay for anything, it will have ads. If you’d prefer an ad-free experience, you can buy the film on Prime Video or YouTube, or if you’d prefer a physical copy, you can get the film on 4K Ultra HD from Amazon.

More free movies coming to Pluto TV

    There’s more than just westerns

    Pluto TV on smart TV.

In addition to The Magnificent Seven, there are a bunch more free movies coming to Pluto TV this June, including another classic western, Gunfight at the O.K. Corral (1957).

If you’re looking for something beyond westerns, Pluto TV is also adding a stack of iconic films on June 1, including Forrest Gump, Titanic, Good Will Hunting, The Adventures of Tintin, The Goonies, Air Force One, Pulp Fiction, The Whale, 21 Jump Street, and Uncut Gems.
