Ultrahuman has come out with a new smart ring – the new model lasts longer on a single charge, collects more accurate data and has an important safety feature. And there is a new AI too, of course.

The Ultrahuman Ring Pro advertises up to 15 days of battery life. For comparison, the Ultrahuman Ring Air lasts 4-6 days on a charge according to official numbers. That’s a massive upgrade but isn’t the end of it either.

The new ring comes with a new Pro Charger, which extends the ring’s endurance up to 45 days. The case can be charged over USB or with a Qi wireless charger. There is a Find My Case feature with proximity guidance and an integrated speaker. The ring also has a direct connection to the case, which enables faster updates and diagnostics and also helps with troubleshooting.

Back to the ring. Ultrahuman redesigned the heart-rate sensor architecture for improved signal quality while the wearer sleeps or is in recovery. The ring also features a new dual-core processor with on-chip machine learning to accelerate data processing and improve accuracy.

The new ring features ProRelease Technology – in case of emergency (swelling or an injury to the finger), the ring can be cut apart more easily. That’s good for peace of mind.

The Ultrahuman Ring Pro is available for pre-order (except in the US) and can be found on the official site. The global pricing is $479, for Europe it’s €479. Note that the Pro Charger is included for free, you just have to pick whether you want the Gold one or the Black one.

You should get the free sizing kit first. And if you already have an Ultrahuman Ring Air, you can trade it in for a discount of up to $115 / €85.

“Ultrahuman Ring PRO takes performance and health intelligence to the next level. It’s engineered to push the limits of what a health monitoring ring can do and has redefined the category in terms of battery life. Ring Pro’s battery life is 3 to 4 times that of the competition. It’s a fundamental breakthrough. With industry-leading hardware paired with Jade biointelligence AI, users can now take real-time actionable interventions towards their health than ever before,” said Mohit Kumar, CEO of Ultrahuman.

In addition to the new ring, Ultrahuman is also introducing Jade, a biointelligence AI. What does that mean? Jade can analyze your health data and answer questions and provide real-time insights.

It analyzes over 120 Blood Vision biomarkers, M1 CGM glucose trends and environmental data. It works in two modes: Standard and Deep Research. The latter offers more comprehensive analysis and can surface long-term trends.

Ultrahuman says that “user data is processed in a secure system designed to meet applicable data protection standards with access to raw markers and real-time actions.”

PowerPlugs (short for plug-ins) are in-app features that offer a growing list of capabilities: AFib detection, Caffeine Window, Respiratory Health, GLP-1 tracking, Cycle & Ovulation Pro, Migraine Insights, Vitamin D tracking and more. Jade and PowerPlugs are available to all Ultrahuman users, including those in the US.

“Most AI tools integrations are just passing on user context to an external or internally hosted LLM. Jade is the first biointelligence AI that can actually take action. It’s similar to how Tesla FSD AI functions in real time, rather than being a simply backward-looking LLM integration. As it evolves, Jade will be able to do more in the background, even connecting with third party services,” said Mohit Kumar, CEO of Ultrahuman.
