Weekly deals: the Samsung Galaxy S26 series is on sale, iPad Air 11″ and 13″ (M3) get discounts

The Samsung Galaxy S26 series started off with strong pre-orders in late March and held its prices for a while, but now the flagship trio has settled at a new normal.

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is by far the most popular model of the three, in part due to having the unique Privacy Display, but also because of the inherent advantage of the Ultra model. Earlier this week, we published an S26 Ultra vs. S26+ comparison article. We have also compared the new Ultra with the S25 Ultra and pitted it against the iPhone 17 Pro Max.

It’s no secret that the Samsung Galaxy S26+ almost didn’t happen. However, Samsung bailed out of the super-thin phone market and here we are. The S26+ brings a decent improvement in battery life even without increasing battery capacity, but wired charging somehow got slower (it’s still rated at 45W).

    Samsung Galaxy S26+

The Samsung Galaxy S26 did get more tangible upgrades like longer battery life out of a slightly larger battery and slightly faster charging too. Plus, 256GB base storage. It’s a bigger upgrade over the S25 than the S26+ is over the S25+, but not by much. Still, it’s one of the three pillars of 6.3” smartphones in the US alongside the Pixel 10 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro.

There were no good deals on the 10 Pro, but the larger Google Pixel 10 Pro XL is $300 off at the moment. Naturally, we have a Pixel 10 Pro XL vs. Galaxy S26 Ultra comparison that details the pros and cons of each flagship.

The old Apple iPad Air 11” is $200 off – when we say “old”, we mean the model from last year with an Apple M3 chip. Apple did refresh the Air series with an M4 chip earlier this year, but the extra performance is rarely worth it on the Airs with their 60Hz displays and iPadOS. The 2026 model has 4 more gigs of RAM than this one, which makes a difference if you are a heavy multitasker.

The larger iPad Air 13” has almost the same discount at $170 off, but only 512GB units are available. Note that these are Wi-Fi + Cellular models, so you can add an eSIM.

For less money than the Air 11”, you can buy the new MacBook Neo – that may be the smarter purchase if you need a keyboard (a Magic Keyboard for the Air will cost you over $200). However, the Neo has the slower chipset, an Apple A18 Pro, despite running the more capable operating system, macOS (which can also run iPadOS apps, by the way). Still, for school and office work, it has more than enough power.

And since we’re looking through the Apple inventory, the Apple Watch Series 11 has discounts that make the 42mm and 46mm models cost the same. Below we’ve linked both GPS and GPS + Cellular models.
