Xiaomi unveiled the 17T and 17T Pro last week, and introduced the former in India yesterday. Now we learn that the two 17T series smartphones will launch in China on June 8, marking the debut of the T Series in Xiaomi’s home country.

The Xiaomi 17T and 17T Pro both run Android 16-based HyperOS 3 out of the box. However, the 17T is powered by the Dimensity 8500 Ultra SoC, while the 17T Pro has the Dimensity 9500 chip at the helm.

The two smartphones also differ in their displays and batteries. The Xiaomi 17T comes with a 6.59″ 120Hz 1,268p AMOLED display and a 6,500 mAh Si/C battery with 67W wired charging support. The Xiaomi 17T Pro, on the other hand, sports a 6.83″ 144Hz 1,280p AMOLED display and packs a 7,000 mAh Si/C battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging support.

For photography, both smartphones feature four cameras – a 50MP primary, a 50MP periscope telephoto (5x optical zoom), a 12MP ultrawide, and a 32MP selfie. However, the sensors used by the primary cameras differ: the 17T uses the Light Fusion 800, while the 17T Pro uses the Light Fusion 950. The Pro model can also record 4K@120fps and 8K@30fps videos.
