The Honor Magic V6 began its global rollout last week with a launch in Malaysia and Singapore. Honor says that the new foldable flagship will reach Europe soon. In the meantime, the company wanted to confirm that it and other Magic-series models will receive 7 years of OS updates and security patches in the EU and the UK.
This is not a new development – last year the company committed to the 7-year update window for all Magic devices. Meanwhile, more affordable phones like the number series are getting 6 years of support.
Honor has cool new features cooking – for example, Magic OS 10.0.0.160 will introduce Virtual Permissions. These will let you work around apps that refuse to work without a certain permission, but without granting them any actual access.
