Big-screen PC gaming feels a lot better when your monitor can fill more of your view, and Samsung’s 37-inch Odyssey G7 is built for exactly that. There’s also a strong deal on Amazon right now, dropping this curved 4K gaming monitor to $499.99.
That price is down from the $899.99 recommended retail price, which is a 44% discount. That also means you’re saving $400 on a monitor designed for players who want a large display without switching to an ultrawide setup.
The Samsung Odyssey G7 G75F uses a 37-inch 4K UHD panel with a very aggressive 1000R curve, which helps pull the edges of the screen more into your field of view. It runs at up to 165Hz, has a 1ms-class response time, supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, and includes VESA DisplayHDR 600 support. The panel is generally presented as VA-based, known for its strong contrast and deep blacks. It’s also positioned as a 16:9 option for gamers who want more vertical space than many super-wide displays offer.
For anyone putting together a gaming desk around a single large monitor, this setup makes a lot of sense. You get the sharpness of 4K, the speed needed for fast games, and a design that leans hard into immersion. Amazon buyers also rate it highly, with an average rating of 4.4 out of 5.
