Xiaomi launched the Redmi Turbo 5 Max earlier this year with a 9,000mAh battery and a 6.83-inch display. Now, a new rumor suggests that its successor, the Redmi Turbo 6 Max, could feature an even larger battery and display.
Tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed that an upcoming mid-range smartphone powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset will feature a large display (around 7-inch) and a battery with a capacity exceeding 10,000mAh.

The tipster also claims that the phone will feature a minimalist design. Notably, a leaked render from July offered a first look at the Redmi Turbo 6 Max, and the phone does indeed feature a minimalist design with a horizontal, pill-shaped rear camera bar.
The latest leak also corroborates a previous rumor from July, which claimed that the phone will feature a 7-inch display with a 2K resolution.
While today’s leak does not reveal the phone’s name, it is expected to be the Redmi Turbo 6 Max, given that the Dimensity 9500s also powers its predecessor.
If the rumor is accurate, Xiaomi could focus on upgrading the battery and display while retaining much of the hardware from the Turbo 5 Max. However, we’ll have to wait for more details to emerge.
