The Google Pixel Watch 5 is expected to go official on August 12 alongside the Pixel 11 series smartphones. Recently leaked renders revealed the Pixel Watch 5 will look identical to the Pixel Watch 4. Now a Google Play Console listing reveals the Pixel Watch 5’s CPU and GPU will also be the same as its predecessor.
The Google Pixel Watch 5, codenamed “godric,” is listed on the Google Play Console with Qualcomm’s SW5100 SoC, the same base chip used by Pixel Watch 2, 3, and 4. The Pixel Watch 5 also has four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.7GHz and an Adreno 702 GPU, like last year’s Pixel Watch 4.

That said, the Pixel Watch 4 switched to the 4nm Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 for features like Satellite SOS. The Play Console doesn’t mention the Pixel Watch 5’s co-processor, so there’s a chance Google upgraded it.

It’s also worth noting that all Pixel watches launched until now had 2GB of RAM onboard. That will change with the Pixel Watch 5, as it’s listed on the Play Console with 3GB of RAM.
